HOW BIG IS THE SURROUNDINGS OF THE CHÂTEAU AND WHERE IS IT?
The Château has 13 hectare of grounds with his own vineyard. It's located in the Nièvre department, 25 km south of Nevers. See the location.

DO YOU HAVE A RESTAURANT?
No, we serve table d'hôte on request. The nearest restaurant is is in Decize, 15 min. from the Château. There are many restaurants, bars and cafés in Nevers and Decize. See a list of restaurants.

IS SMOKING ALLOWED IN THE CHÂTEAU?
Smoking is only allowed in the library and billiard room.

DO YOU HAVE A SWIMMING POOL?
Yes. We have a swimming pool (10x4 meters).
However, by car, you are just 30 minutes away from the nearest indoor/all-weather pool and adventure playground at Imphy, 15 minutes from Decize with his swimmingpool.

DO YOU KEEP TOURIST INFORMATION?
Lots! The most popular are the walks and car tours around the region's villages and beauty-spots. We have literature on the medieval castles, prehistoric caves and much more. The wine tasting information is popular too! If you have a particular hobby or interest, we will do our utmost to gather as much information about it as we can, to give to you when you arrive.

WHERE IS THE NEAREST AIRPORT?
The nearest airports with International flights are at Lyons (242 km) and Paris Orly (268 km) and therafter Paris Charles de Gaulle (301 km). Dijon, about 182 km only has national flights.
The nearest train station is in Nevers. The TGV stops at Le Creusot (104 km), in Burgundy about 1.45 mins. from the Château.

WHAT DOES THE PRICE INCLUDE?
All prices are exclusive breakfast and local taxes.

HOW DO WE MAKE A RESERVATION & PAY THE BOOKING DEPOSIT?
After checking availability with us by phone or reservation form, 50% of the total amount will be asked through a credit card. If you do not have a credit card, remit the amount by a cheque in euros or bank-to-bank transfer (details on request), as the booking deposit. PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH.

WHEN DO WE PAY THE BALANCE?
You will be expected to pay the balance of the rental (minus the booking deposit) 12 weeks before arrival, by credit card or cheque. We do not have the facility to accept debit cards at the Château.

WHEN CAN WE CHECK-IN?
From 3 pm on the day of arrival. We can store luggage if you arrive early. Your room may sometimes be ready to check-into a little earlier, so you may wish to phone us ahead of your arrival to enquire.

HOW WILL WE KNOW THAT OUR RESERVATION IS CONFIRMED?
Upon receipt of your booking deposit, we will confirm your reservation in writing, by post and/or email.

WHAT IF WE NEED TO CANCEL?
A booking deposit may be refunded provided you inform us, in writing, of your wish to cancel and that your written cancellation request is received by us not less than 30 prior to the scheduled arrival date. Cancellation within 15 days of arrival are none refundable. See our cancellation policy.
